How TogetherWON helps Colorado Springs seniors

Every program is built around you: what you want to keep doing, what’s getting harder, and the home you do it in.

  • Strength

    Get stronger for everyday life

Personalized strength training at home, from getting up out of a chair to carrying groceries, including blood flow restriction (BFR) training for strength gains with lighter weights.

  • Balance

    Stay steady on your feet

Balance and fall prevention training that practices the stairs, curbs and uneven ground you deal with every day.

  • Brain

    Keep your mind sharp

Brain-body exercises that challenge memory, focus and reaction time while you move, including training for Parkinson’s.

  • Recovery

    Keep going after physical therapy

When therapy for a new joint, a surgery or a hospital stay comes to an end, we carry the work forward at home.

Frequently asked questions

Which Colorado Springs neighborhoods do you serve?

All of them. We offer in-home training across Colorado Springs: Briargate, Flying Horse, Northgate, Gleneagle and the rest of the north side; Rockrimmon, Mountain Shadows and Peregrine in the northwest; downtown, the Old North End and Patty Jewett; Stetson Hills, Springs Ranch and Banning Lewis Ranch to the east; and the Broadmoor, Skyway and Ivywild in the southwest.

Prefer to train away from home? The studio is another option. Briargate, Pine Creek, Wolf Ranch and Cordera have a page of their own, and so does Gleneagle.

Training in Briargate

Do you come to the Broadmoor and southwest Colorado Springs?

Yes. We train clients at home in Old Broadmoor, Broadmoor Bluffs, Broadmoor Hills and Broadmoor Oaks, as well as Skyway, Ivywild, Stratton Meadows and the Quail Lake area.

Do you train clients on the west side and in Old Colorado City?

Yes. We come to homes in Old Colorado City, the Westside, Mesa Springs, Pleasant Valley and Kissing Camels near Garden of the Gods, and up through Rockrimmon, Mountain Shadows, Peregrine and Pinecliff.

Does Colorado Springs’ altitude change how older adults should exercise?

A little. Colorado Springs sits at 6,035 feet, where there’s less oxygen in each breath. The CDC notes that your top-end exercise capacity is always somewhat lower at altitude, and that the body does most of its adjusting in the first 3 to 5 days.

If you live here, you’re already adjusted, so the main habits are drinking more water in the dry air and building up intensity gradually. If you’re new to town, visiting family, or have a heart or lung condition, talk with your doctor and ease in over your first few days. We adjust every session to how you’re feeling that day.

How much exercise seniors need each week

Do you offer training at a gym in Colorado Springs?

Most of our clients train at home, which saves the drive and makes it easier to stay consistent. Studio sessions with Kristen and small group classes are available too.

Can TogetherWON help me train for the Colorado Senior Games?

Yes. Kristen’s husband, Aaron, became our first Senior Games athlete in 2025 with a 50-meter sprint, and in 2026 a whole TogetherWON team raced, some of them for the very first time.

Your goal doesn’t have to be a race. Working toward something specific, like a powerwalk, a hiking trip or a family wedding, gives every session a purpose, and we build your program around it.
