- Communication platforms: For sending necessary account and service-related emails, delivering contact form messages to our team, and sending our newsletter (AWeber).
- Analytics providers: Google Analytics, to measure how our website is used.
- Client workout app: Some clients use our workout app built on Trainerize, which stores your workouts and progress. Trainerize’s own privacy policy also applies to that app.
Health information you choose to share
Our contact form doesn’t ask for health information. If you choose to tell us about a health condition in your message, you consent to us using it only to respond to you and plan your consultation. We don’t share it with anyone else, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to count visits and show us which pages are useful. Google Analytics doesn’t give us your name or email address, and we don’t use it for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google’s use of this data is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the service and for a fixed period thereafter for administrative and legal purposes.
- Retention period: We retain your Personal Data (email address, first name, last initial) for six (6) months after you terminate your account.
- Reason: This period is maintained for essential administrative record-keeping and legal defense purposes. After this period, we delete or anonymize your Personal Data.
- Contact form messages: We keep your inquiry while we’re in touch with you and for up to two (2) years afterward, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner.
- Newsletter: We keep your name and email address until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, and is then deleted automatically.
