Trainer guiding a senior woman through dumbbell exercises in her living room

No gym required

We train where you live, using your furniture, your stairs and your hallway, so what you practice carries straight into everyday life.

Built around you

Your program starts from a full assessment of your strength, balance and movement, and it changes as you progress.

Support between visits

Your trainer leaves you a few short routines for the days in between, and follows along as you log them.

Your home is the gym

We train with what you already have, so every exercise carries straight into daily life.

  • Your stairs

    Step-ups and stair practice

The bottom step becomes a step-up station, and practicing the full flight with the rail builds confidence right where you need it.

  • Your kitchen counter

    Balance with a hand hold

Heel raises, single-leg stands and side steps, with the counter right there to steady you.

  • A sturdy chair

    Sit-to-stands

The same move you make every time you get up, and one of the best ways to build and measure leg strength.

  • Your hallway

    Walking and turning drills

Heel-to-toe walking, quick turns and stepping over small objects, the kinds of moments that trip people up at home.

  • A clear wall

    Wall push-ups

Upper-body strength for pushing up from a chair or the floor, made easier or harder by where you stand.

  • Your living room floor

    Getting down and back up

Practicing how to lower yourself to the floor and stand up again, so you know what to do if you ever fall.

What an in-home session looks like

Every session is built around you, but most follow the same rhythm.

  1. Check in

    When your trainer arrives

How you slept, how your joints feel, anything new from your doctor. Your trainer adjusts the day’s plan on the spot.

  2. Get your body ready

    With a gentle warm-up

Gentle movement to loosen your joints and wake up the muscles you’re about to use.

  3. Strength and balance

    The heart of every session

Legs, hips, core and upper body, then balance practice with support close by, each at the right level for you.

  4. Think while you move

With a brain challenge built in

Games that mix movement with memory, counting or quick decisions, the way real life asks you to.

  5. Plan the days in between

    Before your trainer leaves

You’ll know exactly which short routines to do before the next visit.

In-home training is a great fit if you

  • Want to stay strong and independent in your own home
  • Find it hard, or just don’t enjoy, getting to a gym
  • Are getting back to exercise after an injury, surgery or a long break
  • Are managing arthritis, Parkinson’s or balance concerns
  • Want a trainer who knows exercise for older adults, not general fitness

How it works

  1. Free 1-hour consultation

We meet in your home, talk through your goals and health history, and check your strength, movement and balance.

  2. Your personalized plan

Your trainer designs a program for your body, brain and balance, with exercises that fit your space and abilities.

  3. Trainer-led sessions at home

Your trainer guides every exercise, watches your form, and adjusts on the spot for how you feel that day.

  4. Keep going between visits

A few short routines in the TogetherWON app fill the days in between, and your trainer adjusts them as you improve.

Frequently asked questions

What happens during an in-home training session?

Your trainer comes to your home and leads you through exercises for strength, balance and brain health, tailored to your goals. We bring any equipment you need.

Between visits, you follow short daily workouts so you keep progressing on your own.

How much space do I need for in-home training?

Very little. A clear spot about the size of a yoga mat, a sturdy chair and a wall or counter to hold for balance work is usually all we need. Your trainer will show you how to use your own space safely.

Can I train at Kristen’s studio instead of my home?

Yes. Kristen also trains clients at her home studio in north Colorado Springs. Let us know which you prefer when you book your free consultation.
