Strength and balance training at your door, so you can stay independent on your property without the drive into town. Start with a free 1-hour consultation.
Gravel drives, slopes, porch steps and snow all ask a lot of your legs and balance. We train for exactly that, and we plan around winter so a storm doesn’t stall your progress.

Adults in rural areas are less likely than city dwellers to get the recommended amount of exercise. Your trainer comes to your door, so distance stops being a reason to skip.1
Hauling, shoveling, stepping onto a porch and walking on gravel all take leg strength and balance. We train the movements your property asks of you.
A Cochrane review of more than 100 trials found that regular exercise, especially balance and strength work, cut falls in older adults by about 23%. That work sits at the center of every program we build.2
Both can work. Here’s why most people who live out of town find it easier to stick with training at home.
| Driving to a gym | TogetherWON at home | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting there | A drive each way, on top of the workout | Your trainer comes to you |
| Snowy days | Icy roads and parking lots can cancel the plan | Train online that day or reschedule |
| What you practice on | Machines on a flat gym floor | Your own stairs, porch steps and uneven ground |
| Who watches your form | Usually no one | A trainer who specializes in adults over 60 |
| Between visits | Another trip into town | Short routines at home in the TogetherWON app |
Everything we offer can come to Black Forest. Here’s how it works out here.
At home
Weekday sessions in your home, inside or out, focused on strength, balance and brain training.
Winter backup
When the roads aren’t safe, your session moves to Zoom, so a storm doesn’t undo your progress.
Balance
Practice on the steps, slopes and surfaces you actually walk on, with a plan for what to do if you ever fall.
Together
One visit can cover both of you, with your trainer tailoring each exercise to your own goals and your spouse’s.
Kristen’s ideas for the days you can’t get out, none of which need a gym or much equipment.
When the sun comes out, bundle up and take a midday walk for the most warmth and light.
Reach us at (719) 286-9450. Tell us roughly where you are and which weekdays work for you.
We check your strength, balance and walking, and look at the spaces and surfaces you move through every day.
Strength, balance and brain work for the whole year, with an indoor routine ready for snowed-in days.
Trainer-led sessions at home, with online sessions as a backup when the roads are bad.
Plans are $198, $448 or $720 a month, depending on how often you train. Black Forest properties are spread out, so homes more than 30 miles round trip add $5 per in-home session. We’ll tell you at your free consultation whether that applies to you.
“I like that I can do the exercises anywhere, I don't have to go to a gym… Thank you for your patience and concern.”

Yes. Your trainer comes to homes throughout Black Forest, including properties off long gravel roads and driveways. Let us know about gates or tricky directions when you book.
We move it or take it online. If the roads aren’t safe, your trainer can lead a live video session instead, or we find another day that week.
Staying active in winterTrain the movements the chores use. Lifting from the ground, carrying a load on one side, stepping up and down, and pushing and pulling all belong in your program, done with good form and built up gradually.
At your free consultation, we’ll ask what your property asks of you and plan around it.
Try the suitcase carryPractice a little every day indoors first, holding the kitchen counter: heel-to-toe walking, standing on one leg and standing marches. Once you feel steady, we take the work outside to the surfaces you actually walk on.
Supportive shoes and a trekking pole, cane or walking partner on slick days are tools, not a sign of weakness.
