A smoothie can be an easy breakfast when you want something quick but still need enough protein to support muscle strength.

This version provides protein, fiber, healthy fats, calcium, potassium, vitamin C, and several B vitamins.

Approximate protein: This smoothie provides approximately 25–30 grams of protein, depending on the yogurt and milk you use.

Why It's a Strong Start

Greek yogurt and milk provide protein and calcium.

Berries and spinach supply vitamin C, antioxidants, folate, and fiber.

Banana adds potassium and natural sweetness.

Flaxseed or chia seeds provide fiber and healthy fats.

Nut butter adds additional protein, healthy fat, and staying power.

For someone who needs more protein, add a scoop of protein powder or use a higher-protein Greek yogurt. For someone with a smaller appetite, divide the smoothie into two servings and drink the second half later in the morning.
