No refined sugar | High fiber | Brain-friendly
I know this might sound crazy, but these brownies are actually amazing! They are a perfect alternative if you are craving something sweet, but want to make a healthier choice that doesn't spike your blood sugar. They whole-heartedly won my husband's stamp of approval!
Why This Recipe Fits Brain & Metabolic Health
Stable blood sugar supports steady energy and may reduce long-term metabolic stress — which is closely tied to cognitive health. Including protein, fiber, and swapping refined sugar for lower-glycemic alternatives is a small change that can make a meaningful difference over time.
Important Sweetener Note
Most monk fruit products are a 1:1 baking blend (monk fruit + erythritol), which can replace sugar cup-for-cup. If using that type, ⅓–½ cup works well depending on how sweet you like your brownies.
If using pure monk fruit or pure stevia extract, you'll need only a small amount (often measured in teaspoons). Always follow your brand's conversion guide.
